Drawing inspiration from seventeenth‑century Dutch Vanitas painting, Clare reimagines classical still‑life symbolism through a contemporary, quietly rebellious lens. Her floral works in particular carry a punk sensibility, luminous, emotional, and alive, rejecting the saccharine in favour of something raw and resonant. Clare studied Fine Art Painting at Liverpool John Moores University and has exhibited widely across the UK, with work held in private collections internationally.
