I Walk Towards the Light- The Facet of Artist
Inspired by Cleo Sol’s Try and You Try, this was the most difficult piece to complete and fittingly so. Clare describes the process as a battle, mirroring the struggle of being an artist itself. “You have that awful bit in the middle … but if you can push through and trust the process, it works.” The painting embodies resilience, persistence, and the courage to keep creating even when doubt looms. It’s both a portrait of Clare’s practice and a universal reflection of the creative journey
