At Seventh Circle Gallery, we’ve never believed art belongs behind velvet ropes or in echo chambers. It’s for all of us, shared, felt, messy, real. We’re about access. Expression and inclusion.
This dream’s been years in the making. We first imagined creating artist studios in our Moseley space, but life threw us some curveballs and we took a different path. Now, we’re in a brand-new larger space in Digbeth, with clearer vision and fiercer conviction.
We saw the utter potential tucked in the back rooms of our new home, listened to what artists told us they needed, and we said YES! Yes to building a space that supports your practice, not just your rent.
THE ARTIST HUSTLE IS REAL
Chez, our founder, co-director, maker, framer, and all-round renaissance human, has lived it. “Seriously, I’ve moved into more studios than I’ve had hot dinners.” We’re talking windowless basements. No heating. No kettle. Just strip lights and frozen feet. Sound familiar? Then you know: surviving doesn’t leave much room for thriving, let alone creating. That’s why we wanted to begin building the antidote to that grind
